GL:  BoxingTalk.com here with the undefeated welterweight champion of the world, Miguel Cotto.  The press conference just wrapped up, give us some thoughts on this fight and how the press conference went down. "It was a good press conference.  Each team tried to prove the skills of each boxer.  It was great."

GL:  You were talking about this being an opportunity for you.  In what way is this an opportunity?

MC:  Every fight is a new opportunity for me to show the people what Miguel Cotto can do in the ring.  This is my opportunity.

GL:  When Todd was up there he mentioned guys like Kelson Pinto, Muhammed Abdulaev, and Carlos Quintana.  They haven't been the same.  They were tough fighters.  In those fights you were the favorite, you were picked to win.  In this fight, it's kind of up in the air.  It's being looked at as a 50-50.  How do you feel about that?

MC:  I'm alright.  I'm not looking for what the people say.  I'm just trying to do my best in the fight.  That's the way I'm going to do this fight.

GL:  They're calling the fight explosive.  Can we expect to see explosiveness from Miguel Cotto on June 9th?

MC:  Yes, it's going to be explosive.

GL:  Will it be explosive and not go the distance?

MC:  I'm always working for the distance.  I'm going round by round, but if it happens that I catch Zab with a good punch I'm going for it.

GL:  Tell us about what the atmosphere is going to be like in here on the 9th.  He's from New York.  The Puerto Rican Parade is going to be the next day.  It's going to be electric in here.  Tell us about that.

MC:  It's going to be a great night.  For Judah's team, for my team, for everybody.  The day before the Puerto Rican Day Parade it's going to feel really Puerto Rican at the Garden.
