Zoff retains Euro title- IBF lightweight shot next

In Milan, Italy, Stefano Zoff retained the European lightweight title with a victory over previously unbeaten Martin Kristiansen by scores of 116-112 (twice) and 117-111.  The win was not only impressive given Zoff's age (he turns 39 next week) but also crucial to his career: he is now lined up to fight Levander Johnson in May for the IBF title vacated by Julio Diaz.  Zoff, 43-9-2, is rated #8 by Boxingtalk...Giaccobe Fragomeni W12 Daniel Bispo... Matthew Hatton TKO6 Francis Jones... Rickey Hatton's lesser   known brother Matthew avenged a 2003 draw against Francis Jones when Jones retired after six rounds of welterweight action.
