Zab Judah: Shane Mosley gets stopped on May 17

GL:  Earlier today we reported that you got reinstated in Vegas.  Can you give us some thoughts on that, how do you feel?  "Doing great.  It was great to be able to get my license back, there was a new commision for it.  I want to thank the Nevada Commision for allowing me to have my license again, and allowing me to be able to do what I do best again in the state of Nevada.  I came in today, I paid my father's fine of $100,000.  I gave them a certified check for $100,000, and we're back in business."

GL:  Last time we spoke, it was your first day with Mayweather Sr. in the gym.  How have the last couple of days  been?

Zab Judah:  It was great.  Actually, I was in the gym today with Floyd Sr., we worked today.  Everything is coming together.  I've learned things, I'm adding them to my arsenal.  As you know, I've already been doing great in my career.  Now I'm adding on to the arsenal.  I've also picked up a couple of pointers from my friend Hassim Rahman which I can't reveal to the public.  We've got some stuff that's going to hurt the game.

GL:  Are you concerned that Mayweather Sr. might now give you as much attention for the May 17th fight, because he's training De La Hoya to fight Stevie Forbes?

ZJ:  They are different agendas.  De La Hoya trains at his house, and that dude trains at his house.  He already knows what we have to do, so I don't think Oscar De La Hoya and I will have any conflict.

GL:  Based on the fact that Floyd Sr.'s been making money with De La Hoya a lot longer, even though you've known Mayweather Sr. forever, is there any element of doubt that perhaps Mayweather Sr. could be reporting to the other side, reporting on how you're looking in the gym.

ZJ:  No, I don't worry about that.  I know real people, he's a great trainer at what he's doing.  I don't think he has intentions in his heart to go back and tell De La Hoya what we're working on.  If he did tell Shane Mosley what I was doing, Shane Mosley could come watch me train every day.  There's nothing he can do to stop me.

GL:  Were you and Mosley face to face for the first time since the fight was announced?

ZJ:  No, Shane Mosley and I have not been face to face yet.  I can't wait for our first press conference, I've got a lot of tricks up my sleeve.  I want everyone on BoxingTalk, to tune in, do not miss the Zab Judah-Shane Mosley press conference.  It's going to be just as exciting as the fight is going to be.  It may be a little longer than the fight is going to be, but it's going to be exciting. Remember you heard it first, it's going to be off the hook.

GL:  Give me closing thoughts.

ZJ:  I'm getting in tremendous shape, I'm going to Big Bear, and I'm going to do what I have to do.  I'm in Vegas now, I'm going to do something that hasn't been done before.  I'm going to stop Sugar Shane Mosley, not only in the fight, I'm going to stop him and end his career.
