As could be expected from these two classy men, both showed a lot of respect for each other.

Winky Wright: "I wanna fight soon...I wanna fight 160 soon....I want De La Hoya, Tito...I want Tito first...Bernard too.  When I quit boxing, I want to say I fought the best in my era, I beat the best in my era," stated Wright who's already looking towards the future after retaining his crown in the 154-pound division. Shane Mosley: Despite losing the majority decision to Wright, Mosley is glad to be back and was pleased with his performance. "Their were a couple of moments where I caught and he clinched very hard that I knew I might have buzzed him...if I would have caught him with a good shot in the eleventh or twelftth round, I think that he would've gone down..."
