On Saturday, August 15th, women’s boxing will take center stage in Atlanta's State Farm Arena with a fight card featuring two WBC title fights. Kaye Scott will put her WBC middleweight title on the line against one of the most decorated fighters in boxing history, multi-division champion Claressa Shields, who will return to the 160-pound division with the goal of reclaiming the crown. The event will also feature Caroline Veyre’s first defense of her WBC junior lightweight title. The Canadian, who captured the vacant title against Delfine Persoon, will face undefeated South African Bernice Ferreira.
