Wolfe Camp Responds to Ali Camp

Johnny "Yahya" McLain, Laila Ali's husband-trainer-manager-promoter now says the fight scheduled in May on Pay-Per-View with Ann Wolfe must be promoted by him and not PrizeFight Promotions.

Brian Young, President of PrizeFight Promotions told RPM Boxing President, Brian Pardo, that it doesn't make any difference to him. "If McLain wants to be the promoter of record, that's okay with us" Mr.Young said.

Brian Pardo, Wolfe's manager and President of RPM Boxing said, "It is a non-issue. The parties here all know we have a date, a venue and a Pay-Per-View slot for this fight. If McLain wants to be the promoter of record, we don't care. All we care about is the fight." Mr. Pardo said.  RPM Boxing believes this opportunity promises to satisfy all involved and at this point the rest is just details.  The future of women's boxing will benefit greatly from this historic event.

RPM boxing said the fight is a must for Ali before she retires. "If she continues to choose to not fight Ann Wolfe, it will be a decision that will haunt her for the rest of her life. She needs to retire as a truly undefeated champion that everyone respects, like her father, for taking on all comers."
