Wolak-Sharpe to headline in NJ

Press Release:  KEA Boxing will promote "Brawls at the Birchwood" on Friday, August 4, 2006 at the Birchwood Manor in Whippany, New Jersey.  Mt. Arlington's "Polish Pride," Pawel Wolak, 9-0, 5 KOs, will put his unbeaten record on the line against  Bayonne's Dennis Sharpe, 17-3-1, 4 KOs. In the other featured bout, Lyndhurst's super middleweight Wayne "Lights Out" Johnsen, 12-1, 7 KOs will have the house packed with the "Wayniacs" when he fights a rematch with James Sundin, 6-3, 3 KOs. The two previously fought at Madison Square Garden and Johnsen won a four-round decision. Slightly over a year later, the two are scheduled to do it again over 8 rounds. Also scheduled to appear is Alex "The Brick City Bullet" Perez, 6-0 against Carlos Aballe, 4-2. Perez is coming off a fourth-round TKO on the Gatti-Baldomir undercard last week.
