Cruiserweights take the spotlight in Poland

Krzysztof Wlodarczyk W12 Steve Cunningham... Fighting in his home country of Poland, Krzysztof Wlodarczyk captured the vacant IBF cruiserweight title via split decision over Steve Cunningham. Predictably, the American judge scored it for the American Cunningham (119-109) and the Polish judge favored Wlodarczyk (115-113). The German judge broke the tie, 116-112, for Wlodarczyk. Cunningham said he plans to file a protest over what he considers a robbery. O'Neil Bell, who was stripped of the IBF title, continues to be regarded as the true world champion. source: videosport.com internet broadcast & associated press
