Junior Witter TKO9 Arturo Morua...In London, Junior Witter retained his WBC light welterweight title Saturday night by stopping Arturo Morua. Although the bout was a technical knockout, the BBC claimed "a sparkling combination knocked Morua cold in the ninth and he was stopped." Earlier in the ninth round, Morua was given a standing eight count. Morua was cut early on, but showed durability as Witter struggled to close the show for a couple of rounds. Witter would now love to face Ricky Hatton if Hatton beats Juan Urango later tonight, but Hatton has his sights set on bigger things, like Jose Luis Castillo. source: bbc
