With wife sick, Guerrero scores TKO1

Robert Guerrero TKO1 Martin Honorio... With his wife Casey having been diagnosed with leukemia last week, Robert Guerrero fought like a man in a rush to get home. He took less than a minute to dispatch of Martin Honorio in defense of his IBF featherweight title. Guerrero knocked Honorio down, and though he was hurt, Honorio got to his feet. Unfortunately, he stumbled when he was getting up, and the referee stopped the bout. Now 21-1 (a second loss was changed to a no contest when Orlando Salido failed a drug test), Guerrero wants a super fight and seems willing to step up to 130 pounds if he can get Juan Manuel Marquez or Manny Pacquiao. First, Guerreo will go home to Casey, and Boxingtalk wishes the Guerrero family all the best in what will be a stressful time. source: showtime
