Winky Wright speaks on light heavyweight action, future plans and more

SB: Boxingtalk.com with Winky Wright, whats going on baby? "Chilling Man. Just watched my man Tarver do his thing. Chad Dawson. Chad had a tough fight but he pulled it through.  My Man Tarver dominated, no doubt."

SB Do you think Chad won that fight?

WW: Aye, he got the decision, that's my man.  Glen Johnson is a tough dude. You know, I aint the judge but it was a good fight.  It was a real good fight!

SB: Let's talk a little about your business. You said it in print a milliontimes and know you can say it again on camera, what do you think of the Pavlik-Lockett fight?

WW: (Grins and sighs) What do you think about it?  That's what we need to say. What do the fans think about it?  The people want to see me and Pavlik. You know he got to get his fight do his thing but in September hopefully we can get everything together so, you know, we can fight because that's what the people want to see.

I told you I wanna give the people what they want to see and once I beat Pavlik I'm going to '54 (light middleweight) and then hopefully any of them '54 or '47 pounders want to move up and fight me, we can do it.

You heard it first on Boxingtalk! I'm out.
