GL: How's everything going one week away from your big fight with Bernard Hopkins? "Things are great Greg, I'm just putting the finishing touches on what's been a great camp. I'm ready for this fight and I'm coming to put ona great fight, it's going to be a party. Right now this is the final countdown to Bernard Hopkins retirement party."

GL: What's going to be the difference in this fight that leads to a Winky Wright victory?

Winky Wright: "That's real simple homey, I'm going to want it more. I'm the hungrier fighter and I'm going to show the world that I'm on another level right now. I'm coming to outwork him and win this fight in impressive fashion. It's like I been telling you I'm coming to dominate."

GL: Bernard has been doing quite a bit of talking...

Winky Wright: (cutting in) "And I don't care about that none, he could talk all he wants when he gets in that ring he gotta let his hands talk for him. He's doing a conference call today and he's going to do some more talking, at the press conference next week he'll probably talk until everyone falls asleep, but that's cool because when we get in there on July 21 I'm coming to embarrass him Greg, it's like I told before I'm going to make Bernard look old for the first time of his career."

GL: How do you plan on doing that?

WW: "By being Winky Wright. I'm going to come forward be aggressive, throw way more punches, land way more punches and make it real hard for him to get anything through my defense. It's like I said we're both great fighters and I know he's going to try his best to win, it's just not going to be enough, but it's going to be a great fight that the fans don't want to miss because I'm coming to show y'all something you ain't never seen, Bernard Hopkins unable to solve what he likes to call a puzzle. I'm one puzzle he ain't figuring out, trust me. And if you don't, you gotta tune into HBO PPV next weekend if you can't make it to the Mandalay Bay."

GL: Is there anything you'd like to say in closing?

WW: "The Executioner gets executed on July 21. Be sure to cop them ringtones and continue to support boxing and Winky Promotions, we're going to be doing big things."
