Williams, Arreola win in California

Paul Williams KO1 Andy Kolle... WBO welterweight titlist Paul Williams proved that talent is more important than weight, as he moved up two divisions to knock out Andy Kolle in the first round. Fighting at the Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, California, Williams (35-1, 26 KOs) landed a combination that knocked Kolle (17-2, 12 KOs) through the ropes about midway through the first round.

Chris Arreola TKO3 Israel Garcia... On the same card, heavyweight Chris Arreola (25-0, 22 KOs) dominated Israel "King Kong" Garcia (19-2, 11 KOs) for three rounds, leading to a win by technical knockout. Garcia has few wins of note and has been extremely inactive. In the third round, Arreola hurt Garcia with a left and right to the body followed by an uppercut that wobbled Garcia. He then fired several punches with nothing in return and that was the fight.  source for both results: associated press
