William Zepeda W10 Tevin Farmer...  Lightweight contender William Zepeda remained undefeated, defeating former junior lightweight champion Tevin Farmer in Saudi Arabia on Saturday. It was only a ten-round fight but the WBC apparently relaxed its rules and awarded Zepeda the interim championship. Farmer (33-7-1) performed very well and was distraught when he lost a split decision by scores of 95-94 (twice), overruling a 95-94 tally in his favor. Zepeda is now 32-0 and in a position to soon challenge WBC full champion Shakur Stevenson. 

Farmer complained that neither fighter was drug tested after the fight. He said, "Why wasn’t me and Zepeda drug tested? I ask multiple times in the locker room before we fought. [At first] they said after the fight. And still no test.  I’m just saying. Boxing is dirty. You never know... Every other championship fight on the card was drug tested. Why not me and Zepeda ? I have so many questions. I kept asking before the fight. They told me after the fight 'oh we was short staffed.' How ? [There] was only six fights on the card."
