Fighting in Ireland, Whyte battered Christian Hammer for three rounds, with Hammer failing to come out for round four. Now 27-10 overall, the Romanian-born Hammer has lost four of his last five, albeit against top competition. Whyte, a former WBC interim title holder, is now 30-3 as a pro, with the losses coming against Joshua, Tyson Fury and Alexander Povetkin.
