Felix Trinidad and Ricardo Mayorga had no difficulties making weight for their middleweight battle but three undercard boxers had scale problems and one wound up giving up his world title.  For his first bout since May 2002, Trinidad weighed in at 157, the fourth heaviest of his career.  Trinidad weighed 158.5 against Bernard Hopkins, his only career loss.  Mayorga, who made the welterweight limit as recently as last December, and once ate an apple while standing on a scale that read 147 pounds, weighed in at a career-high 158.
