Ryan Garcia will defend his WBC welterweight title against Conor Benn on Saturday, September 12th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The event will be broadcast on Paramount+ in the United States and on DAZN throughout the rest of the world. Garcia, initially a lightweight, owns a professional record of 25 wins, 2 losses, and 20 knockouts. Garcia acquired the WBC title in his last fight, a win over Mario Barrios.  Benn holds a professional record of 25 wins, 1 loss, and 14 knockouts. He built his career following the legacy of his father, former world champion Nigel Benn, while establishing his own identity through explosive performances and an aggressive style. Benn is returning to welterweight after splitting two middleweight battles with Chris Eubank, Jr. Benn did drop down in weight for hils last fight, an April wn over Regis Prograis, but Benn was a bit over 147 for that fight.
