Fight week has arrived in New York City as Alycia Baumgardner (pictured) defends the IBF, WBO, WBA and IBO junior lightweight titles against Bo Mi Re Shin on Friday, April 17th to kick off the United States debut of MVPW, the new global platform for women’s boxing. But there has been a change in the main card as the scheduled middleweight bound between undefeated Tamm Thibeault and Najja Jesus has been removed from the show (live on ESPN) due to a visa delay for Jesus. Most Valuable Promotions is working to schedule Thibeault's next fight and will announce further details in the coming weeks. An eight-round flyweight matchup between MVP‘s undefeated Nat "No Love" Dove and Maria Micheo will now open the main card.

 

The main card is composed entirely of female fighters: 

 

Alycia Baumgardner vs. Bo Mi Re Shin (junior lightweight championship contest);

Shadasia Green vs. Lani Daniels (super middleweight championship contest);

Krystal Rosado vs. Fernanda Reyes (bantamweights); and

Nat Dove vs. Maria Micheo (flyweights).
