Andrey Tsurkan (26-3, 17 KOs) weighed in today at 153 3/4 pounds while his opponent Alfredo Angulo (13-0, 10 KOs) weighed in at 154 for their ten-round contest tomorrow night at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, CA. The card is being broadcast live on HBO's Boxing After Dark. The Tsurkan vs. Angulo fight will be the co-feature to a triple header. In the opening bout, Sergio Martinez (43-1-1, 23 KOs) takes on Alex Bunema (30-5-2, 16 KOs) for an interim WBC's junior middleweight bout. Martinez weighed in at the 154-pound limit, while Bunema came in at 152 1/2. In the main event, Cuban expatriate Yuriokis Gamboa (11-0, 9 KOs) battles Marcos Ramirez (25-0, 16 KOs) in a ten rounder between undefeated featherweights. Ramirez made the featherweight limit of 126, while the favored Gamboa scaled in at 126 1/2.
