Courtenay, fighting in her home country, was reported as "117.14" pounds, probably meaning 117 pounds, 14 ounces. The Australian Bridges, seven years older than Courtenay at 34, came in at 117 pounds even. The WBA bantamweight title has not been contested since 2017. Courtenay is 5-1, while Bridges is 6-0 against weaker competition.
