Today (Feb. 1st), WBC interim light heavyweight Champion David “El Monstro” Benavidez and WBA regular light heavyweight champion David Morrell Jr. will meet in a battle of two of the sport’s most exciting 175 pounders in the primes of their careers. Prior to the action at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, both men weighed in at 174.2 pounds. The co-feature will see WBC featherweight champion Brandon “The Heartbreaker” Figueroa defend his title against former two-belt junior featherweight champion Stephen Fulton Jr. in a rematch of one of 2021’s best fights. Figueora weighed in at 125.8, while Fulton came in right at the 126-pound featherweight limit. The pay-per-view will also feature Mexican star and former world title holder Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz (138.6) facing Angel Fierro (139) in an all-Mexican junior welterweight duel, Opening the pay-per-view will be Jesus “Mono” Ramos Jr. (159) against former unified junior middleweight champion Jeison Rosario (159.2) in a ten-round middleweight fight.
