For Saturday's world super middleweight championship fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, defending world champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez weighed in at 167.4 pounds. His last fight was an ambitious light heavyweight title challenge vs. Dmitry Bivol, for which Alvarez weighed 174.5 and lost by decision. Alvarez's challenger, Gennadiy "GGG" Golovkin, the reigning IBF and WBA middleweight champion weighed on at 167.8, a career high. For the co-feature, Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodríguez will defend his WBC non-franchise super flyweight title against Israel González. Rodriguez (16-0, 11 KOs) is in sizzling top form after a stoppage win over Thai star Srisaket Sor Rungvisai in June. The 25 year-old Gonzalez (28-4-1, 11 KOs). has faced Roman ‘Chocolatito’ Gonzalez, Kal Yafai and Jerwin Ancajas for belts at 115 pounds. On Friday, both men made weight with Rodriguez registering 114.8 pounds, and Gonzalez coming in at 114.6 pounds.

The event, presented by Matchroom, Canelo Promotions and GGG Promotions, will be broadcast live on DAZN Pay-Per-View in the US and Canada, as well as worldwide on DAZN.
