Agit Kabayel will defend the WBC interim heavyweight title this Saturday in Germany, marking his first title defense. Kabayel weighed in at 240.3 pounds.  His challenger, Poland's Damian Knyba weighed in at 257.9.  In 2014, the German fighter challenged Gbenga Olokun, winning the bout by split decision. That got Kabayel's career rolling, but there was momentum gaps. After capturing and defending two EBU titles, Kabayel became a top contender in 2024 by defeating Frank Sánchez. Nearly a year later, in February 2025, he scored a knockout victory over Chinese heavyweight Zhilei Zhang.Kabayel remains undefeated with a record of 26 wins, including 18 by knockout. Knyba made his professional debut in 2021. He enters the bout undefeated with a record of 17 wins, 11 of them by knockout.
