Weigh-in report from Dubai

Jamel Herring and Carl Frampton both made weight in Dubai as they prepare for their WBO super featherweight title fight on Saturday. The D4G Promotions event takes place at Caesars Palace Dubai on Saturday, as Frampton (28-2, 16 KOs) squares off with defending champion Herring (22-2, 10 KOs). The two fighters weighed in on Friday, with Herring tipping the scales at 58.7kg (129.4 pounds), while Frampton was slightly heavier at 58.9kg (129.9). Elsewhere on the card, former four-weight champion Donnie Nietes makes his highly-anticipated return, facing Pablo Carrillo in the super flyweight division. Nietes weighed 52.1kg (114.8), and Carrillo was 52kg (114.6).
 
Local favorite Tursynbay Kulakhmet will see action in the junior middleweight division against Heber Rondon. Kulakhmet weighed 69.8kg (153.8), and Rondon was 69.7kg (153.6)...
 
Tyrone McKenna is in action too, facing Zhankosh Turarov in the junior middleweight. McKenna weighed 63.3kg (139.5), with Turarov still due to weigh in.
