WEEKLY FRIDAY NIGHT LATIN BOXING BROADCAST SERIES RETURNS!

Now into its third full month of production, "CMX Boxeo de Campeones"-- presented by CMXsports and promoted by Guilty Boxing -- returns Friday, August 27, LIVE from the The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Middleweight movie star GEORGE "BLAZE" WALTON, 16-2 (11 KOs), from New York, NY, looks to extend his five-bout winning streak (four victories by KO!), against Colombian buzzsaw and former world title challenger FULGENICO ZUNIGA, 15-1 (15 KOs), in the 10-round middleweight main event.

Boxing fans from around the world can catch all the action via a live internet stream, and access the replay, at www.cmxsports.com for a monthly subscription fee of just $4.95. The series airs every Friday night, beginning at 11 P.M. ET / 8 P.M. PT. Subscribers will also be able to access archived fight footage and get behind-the-scenes interviews, previews and articles. The broadcasts will be available in English and Spanish. Former WBC welterweight champion and 2004 International Boxing Hall of Fam inductee, Carlos Palomino, will provide the color commentary to newly elected World Boxing Hall of Fame inductee, Colonel Bob Sheridan's blow-by-blow, on the English feed of the broadcast. Sheridan is a veteran of more than 750 world title fight broadcasts. The Spanish language feed of the broadcast features former NFL All-Pro kicker and veteran sports announcer Benny Ricardo and former five-time world champion Manuel Medina, doing the blow-by-blow and color, respectively. Former Major League Baseball player Rich Perez, who hosts the weekly CMXsports Radio show, heard weekly Tuesday nights in Las Vegas at 8 P.M. PT in Las Vegas or via the internet at www.alltalkradio.net or www.klav1230am.com, provides the in-ring post-fight interviews. Boxing historian Bert Randolph Sugar, former editor of The Ring and Boxing Illustrated, and the author of more than 50 books, has signed on as CMXsports Senior Boxing Analyst At-Large, providing weekly columns to the CMXsports website and commentary to the broadcasts. A new Sugar column, "Sugar 'N Spice," runs on CMXsports.com every Friday.

The Walton - Zuniga rumble will be the fight of the night between two warriors with a combined record of 31-3 (26 KOs) -- a winning percentage exceeding 91%! Walton made his "CMX Boxeo De Campeones" debut in June, stopping previously undefeated Jesus Mendoza Chavez via a fourth-round TKO at The Orleans. The star of the 1999 Academy Award nominated documentary, "On The Ropes," Walton is a crowd favorite because of the Tysonesque intensity he brings to the ring and the one-punch KO power he can unleash. Zuniga returns to the ring fresh from his unsuccessful world title bid of June 28, losing a 12-round unanimous decision to WBO jr. middleweight champion Daniel Santos -- the only blemish of a sterling professional record.

The undercard will feature a six-round cruiserweight rumble between Olawale Afolab,6-1-2 (2 KOs), from Los Angeles, CA, against Carlos Ibarra, 4-0 (2 KOs), from Imperial Beach, CA.

CMXsports and Guilty Boxing will produce 48 two-hour shows a year over a three-year period with two cards each month emanating from Las Vegas --The Orleans Hotel & Casino and the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino. The remaining two shows per month will be broadcast from different locations, including, southern California and Mexico. Recent shows have emanated from Las Pulgas Club in Tijuana, Mexico.

"CMX Boxeo de Campeones" will showcase the very best in action-packed Latin fights, a staple of Guilty Boxing shows over the past decade, as well as an extensive amount of high-quality features on boxing. CMXsports will complement the broadcast with the Internet’s capability to provide fans around-the-clock, behind-the-scenes information about the fighters before and after the show, and the state-of-the-art CMXlivecam, allowing fans unprecedented access to the fighters on a real-time basis.
