Justin Pauldo KO8 Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov... Put some respect on the name Justin Pauldo. In a lightweight bout, Pauldo knocked out former IBF super featherweight champion Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov in round eight. Pauldo punished Rakhimov throughout the fight and the knockout was particularly brutal. Rakhimov left the ring on a stretcher. At a minimum, he needs a long rest and strict medicals before getting back in the ring. What made Pauldo's win so notable was that Rakhimov (17-2-1, 14 KOs) had only one prior loss, and that was a very close decision loss to in a world title fight. Punchstats reflected Pauldo's dominance, 255 punches landed to 72 for Rakhimov. Pauldo's record is now 18-2 with 9 KOs and he has established himself as a contender in the very deep lightweight division.
