Bakhodir Jalolov TKO1 Chris Thompson... At the WBC convention in Uzbekistan, the towering southpaw heavyweight Bakhodir Jalolov made quick work of South Africa's Chris Thompson (12-6-1). Two overhead rights from the 6'7" Jalolov backed Thompson into the ropes, and he sagged from an even harder left hook. Then a Jalolov flurry dropped him and the referee immediately waved it off, all in a minute and a half. Jalolov, the reigning Olympic champion, is from Uzbekistan. He is billed as having a pro record of 14-0 but he also fought in the World Series of Boxing, making 17-3 a more accurate accounting.
Ermal Hadribeaj TKO10 Carlos Molina... Former IBF 154-pound champion Carlos Molina was stopped for the first time in his career, at the age of forty. Molina succumbed to Albania's Ermal Hadribeaj (17-0-1). His own corner threw in the new red towel at 2.16 of the final round.
