Wasserman's June 14th show changes venues

Abass Baraou’s maiden defense of the EBU European junior middleweight title on Friday, June 14th will take place at a new venue. Baraou faces Macaulay McGowan, live and free on UK's Channel 5 next month, with the contest originally due to be held at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester. But circumstances outside the control of Wasserman Boxing mean the stacked night of action is moving to the nearby Toughsheet Community Stadium in Bolton. The June 14th date remains the same, all tickets purchased for the original venue will remain valid in Bolton, and the bout lineup is unaffected by the change in event location. Germany's Baraou once again goes into the lion’s den against Manchester favourite McGowan, having won the vacant belt in a Fight of the Year contender against Sam Eggington in Telford, earlier this year.
