Warrior's Boxing Criticizes Sauerland

Edited Press Release: According to Seminole Warriors Boxing, the promoter of middleweight contender Edison Miranda, Don Majeski, the United States agent for Sauerland Event, has authorized Seminole Warriors Boxing to utilize the footage of Miranda's loss to IBF titleholder Arthur Abraham. The release granted Seminole Warrior Boxing the right to distribute the broadcast images of the event (which Miranda lost by decision to Abraham, who fought with a broken jaw) in the United States and Canada for a period of 30 days from October 5, 2006. Despite receiving the permission to air the bout, Warriors complained to the public. “It is obvious that Sauerland does not want boxing fans throughout the world to see first hand what transpired on September 23, 2006 in Wetzlar, Germany between Miranda and Abraham,” said Leon Margules, Executive Director of Seminole Warriors Boxing. Margules contends that Miranda was robbed of the IBF title through point deductions and failure to heed the doctor's advice to stop the fight when Abraham was injured. on September 23, 2006 in Wetzlar, Germany between Miranda and Abraham,” said Leon Margules, Executive Director of Seminole Warriors Boxing.
