Press Release: The Tachi Palace Casino Hotel in Lemoore, California will be the site of Goossen Tutor Promotions’s debut on HDNet subscription service, hosting a boxing card featuring undefeated Oakland middleweight Andre Ward against an opponent to be named in a six-round bout. Ward, the only US boxer to win a gold medal at the 2004 Olympic Games, is 7-0 with 4 KOs as a professional.   He will be making his second appearance in Lemoore, as he decisioned Kenny Kost there in his second pro fight last February.  Viewed as a possible future superstar of the middleweight division, Ward was just the second boxer to be signed to an endorsement deal by Jordan Brand, a division of Nike. Unbeaten heavyweight prospect Travis Walker (14-0-1, 12 KOs) will also be featured in a 6-round contest.  The native of Colorado Springs, CO may have played a significant role in the recent retirement of Russian behemoth Vitali Klitschko.  Walker claims he floored Klitschko during a spirited sparring session just befor Klitschko announced his retirement. Another exciting bout scheduled on the card is a clash of cruiserweights:  Fresno’s Charles Davis (17-8-1, 4 KOs) and Danny Batchelder (23-1-1, 11 KOs), of Phoenix.  A total of 8 bouts will be presented.
