Walters gets off canvas to score TKO

Wisconsin report

On Saturday night in Superior, Wisconsin, light heavyweight Zach "Jungle Boy" Walters stopped Ted Muller in the third round of a scheduled eight-rounder.  Muller knocked Walters down twice in the first round, although the first time was really more of a push that was scored a knockdown.  After recovering from a rocky start, Walters received some calm advice from his trainer, Chuck "Sharky" Horton and was able to regain his footing to fight a closley contested second round.  In the third, Walters took control with his power punching to knock Muller down twice, forcing the referee to stop the fight.  Both fighters were cut during the bout, but it was Walters who used his power punching ability and heart to come out victorious.  With the win against the respected Muller, Walters positions himself for much bigger fights. Already the Minnesota light heavyweight champion, Walters improves to 14-1 with 11 KOs while Muller falls to 17-7 with 7 KOs.  Also on the card, former UFC star Justin Eilers won a four-round unanimous decision over Minnesota fighter Van Goodman.  While both fighters showcased solid skills, it was Eilers who was able to control
most of the fight with his power punching and effective aggressiveness.
