WBO orders Ramirez-Caterall

Jose Ramirez, who recently added Maurice Hooker's WBO junior welterweight championship to the WBC version he already owned, has been ordered by the WBO to defend against Great Britain's Jack Caterall. As a condition of sanctioning the Ramirez-Hooker unification bout, the WBO required that the winner must make the mandatory within 120 days. Of course, Ramirez (pictured) could ignore the WBO's order and remain the WBC champion. Ramirez (25-0) is promoted by Top Rank. Caterall (24-0) is promoted by Frank Warren.
