WBO orders Okolie to defend vs. Light

The WBO has ordered its cruiserweight champion, Lawrence Okolie (pictured), to make a mandatory defense against David Light of Australia. The parties were given twenty days to negotiate a deal before a purse bid is scheduled. Okolie, from London, is 18-0 and is considered a real talent in the 200-pound division. However, he has run into a dispute with his promoter, Matchroom, and has not fought since February. Light, 20-0, has three quality wins since May.
