The World Boxing Organization was very pleased to see that Boxingtalk clarified the information related to Lamon Brewster’s next commitment being as Don King had stated after the Brewster-Meehan fight, that Brewster would be defending his title against Evander Holyfield in his next fight. Major news agencies were pleased to see that the WBO answered Don King immediately stating very clearly that we would abide by our own as well as ABC regulations and will only operate in the manner in which we have been operating since our inception and that is under the principle no promoter is above our boxing rules.
