WBC orders interim title at 108!

Press Release: The WBC reports that Brian Viloria's manager, Gary Gittelson, informed the sanctioning body that the WBC light flyweight world champion is still uncertain as to when he will be able to fight next. Consequently, the WBC has ordered the mandatory challenger, Juanito Rubillar of the Philippines, who has been waiting for a long time, to fight the number two ranked contender, Wandee Singwangcha (aka Wandee Chor Chareon), a former 105 pound titlist, for the WBC light flyweight interim title. Brian Viloria will fight the winner of this fight when he is ready to resume his boxing career. The winning bidder to stage the interim title fight is Naris Boxing Promotion, Singwangcha's promoter from Thailand, who outbid Gabriel Elorde Jr. from the Philippines.
