Boxingtalk.com contacted Main Events attorney Patrick English who was unaware of WBC ordering Gatti-Mayweather to a purse bid on Friday afternoon. English told he would make some calls and get back to us. Thirty mintues later Boxingtalk received a call from English informing us that the WBC has rescinded its order for a Gatti-Mayweather purse bid until further notice. "After hearing the news from you, I there upon contacted Mauricio Sulaiman who informs me that the purse bid notice has been rescinded until further notice so the WBC could review materials on behalf of Arturo Gatti."
