The WBC has formally notified the camps of undisputed junior middleweight king, Ronald "Winky" Wright and WBC interim junior middleweight titlist, Javier Castillejo that a purse bid! The purse bid for Wright-Castillejo will take place at the WBC's offices in Mexico on Feb. 11. It should be interesting to see if the WBC finally stands up and does away with the interim title Castillejo has held for the past three years, which enabled the WBC to collect sanctioning fees from two champions. BT will continue to keep you updated so stay tuned.
