The WBA Championships Committee extneded the deadline for the purse bid for the mandatory bout between welterweight champion Eimantas Stanionis and challenger Shakhram Giyasov, which was originally scheduled for November 8th.  Both teams requested an extension of the deadline and the sanctioning organization decided to approve it, so now the purse bid date has been moved to November 19th. Both parties have until then to agree and close the deal. Otherwise, the auction will be held for the new date agreed under the rules of the organization.
