The WBA announced that its Bilbao Boxing Night, scheduled to take place in the Basque Country on August 1st, has been postponed. According to the WBA, new coronavirus outbreaks, together with the fact that boxing gyms have not been able to fully open, forced the suspension of the event. WBA interim title holder Miriam Gutierrez was expected to participate on the program. The WBA is evaluating new dates in the future and will make a decision when it deems the situation is ideal to hold the event.
