Collazo-Hatton a non-title affair?

Reliable sources have informed Boxingtalk.com that there is a very strong possibility that the Luis Collazo-Ricky Hatton fight will not take place for the WBA welterweight championship of the world as originally anticipated. Word is the bout will still move forward as a twelve round non-title special attraction need be, but as this goes to print the WBA has yet to sanction the bout. Hatton's American based promoter Artie Pelullo was unavailable for immediate comment, but we plan on speaking with him shortly. More to follow.
