Vivian Harris tears up Stevie Johnston

Vivian Harris TKO7 Stevie Johnston... Vivian Harris was too tall, too strong and too prepared for ex-lightweight champion Stevie Johnston. In the main event of HBO's Boxing After Dark telecast from Santa Ynez, California, the 5'11" Harris floored the 5'5" Johnston a total of four times and had him cut over both eyes before the referee rescued Johnston from further punishment. It was Harris' first major win (he also won a tune-up) since losing his WBA 140-pound title to Carlos Maussa a little more than a year ago. He improves to 27-2-1 while Johnston, a relatively late replacement for Mike Arnaoutis, drops to 39-4-1 and now has a tough decision to make about retirement. source: HBO Boxing After Dark

Joshua Clottey W12 Richard Gutierrez... In a rough bout where both boxers threw low blows and used their heads as weapons, Joshua Clottey handed Richard Gutierrez his first loss by majority decision in the HBO Boxing After Dark co-feature.  Official scores were 113-113, 115-111 and 116-110. Both men recieved point deductions for low blows.  Clottey improved to 29-1, with the only loss a 1999 disqualification to current world welterweight champion Carlos Baldomir in a bout that almost no one has seen a tape of. Gutierrez is now 19-1 with 1 no contest, but his stock was not diminished due to his strong effort. source: HBO Boxing After Dark
