GL: I'm sure you're aware of Lennox Blackmoore's remarks on Boxingtalk, is there anything you'd like to say in response? "He said all these things. I paid Blackmoore to go to training camp with me in May. He was arguing with me over money to come out to training camp and he was trying to blame things on my promoter Gary Shaw for not paying for him to go to training camp. When were in training camp for the fight, he left me for a week and I never asked back for the money I was paying him. We were there for five weeks and I was paying him $500 a week to be there. He didn't leave the same time we left to go to camp. I had to rebook his ticket because he had some driver license issues he had to take care of in Brooklyn and he didn't tell me about that until the day before we were leaving for Vegas. I didn't ask him for the $500 that I gave him for the first week he didn't come to camp or the week he left. It's not the first time he did it, he also did it when I was training for the Juan Lazcano fight. I overlooked that, but things kept getting worse with Lennox Blackmoore. When we were there it wasn't my fault that these people weren't giving us any money for food. After the weigh-in I left to go eat and they asked Lennox Blackmoore if he wanted to go into the Junior Witter corner to watch his hands get wrapped and he said no. I heard about this after the fight. My wife is always in training camp with me and he knows my wife, so for him to put my wife into this, he shouldn't do that.

"Then I found out why Blackmoore was leaving my training camp because he was sleeping with a girl fighter that he trains. He got the girl pregnant right now. The guy that promotes the girl in Germany tried to call me to solve the problems with me and Blackmoore. Then he called me back and he told me that he's a horrible dude, a bad dude, he ended up getting my fighter pregnant. I figured that's what he was doing every time he left my training camp to be with this girl. He was going to have sex with this girl. She's a woman fighter so he wasn't no kind of money to leave me and go work with her. The girl is pregnant right now. When I came back I didn't get paid for over a week because it was overseas and the money took a while to come through. By the time it came through, I found out about all these things and I didn't want to pay him. I felt like he was trying to do me like he did his son who doesn't fight anymore. We ended up going to the New York Commissioner and they gave me good advice, they told me I should have paid him and fire him after.

"Maybe I did take the wrong approach of it by not paying him. I paid Blackmoore all the time, this is the first time I didn't pay Blackmoore because of what he did to me in training camp and what he did to me in Germany. If you have a fighter challenging for the world championship, you're supposed to be there for your fighter and he was not there for me. He left my training camp and he refused to watch the guys hands get wrapped. It was real stupid to be in England and not watch this guy's hands get wrapped. That's telling me that you don't care about me or my family. Anybody who doesn't care about me or family is somebody I don't care about, so that's why I did it to him."

"He put some pussy in front of his own money and that's not my fault. I ended up going into the Commissioner and I signed to pay him and as soon as I get my next fight scheduled I am definitely going to take care of him. I don't have no fight scheduled and I'm not going to take money out of pocket to give to him because I don't have it for him.
