GL: Panchito Bojado, big fight coming up, Stevie Forbes. Can we have some thoughts on the fight? "On paper, he looks like he's going to be the toughest opponent I've faced yet. It looks like a good match-up, I'm looking forward to September 15th. It's going to be a great card, and it's Mexican Independence Day. We have to let the fireworks fly out."
GL: People in the past have questioned your work ethic, your desire. Is Forbes the kind of fighter we can expect to see you at your best against?PB: Definitely, I had to take some time off, I learned a lot from taking that lay-off. I have more determination, more hunger, I've learned a lot. I've been working with experienced fighters, so I've learned a thing or two. I'm going to showcase what I've learned in and out of the ring on September 15th.
GL: What does a victory over Forbes mean to you?PB: It means I'm one step closer to being through that door, leading to personal satisfaction. A win gets me closer to fighting elite fighters, and him being a former world champion is just another win under my belt.
GL: Do you feel the fight goes the distance?PB: I've never really made predictions. I'm just going to go out there, and do what I have to do. I've got power in both hands, I've got speed. If he wants to go toe-to-toe, let's go to war. If he wants to box, I'll take him to school.
GL: He's boxing oriented, he's a mover, he's kind of slick.PB: I'm a slick fighter myself. He's training with one of my old trainers, Mayweather Sr.  I know a thing or two about the style, about how he trains. I know what he's going to bring to the table.
GL: What are you going to bring to the table that's going to neutralize that slickness, and that boxing ability?PB: I'm going to be smart. I'm going to go out there, and use my speed, and the ring. I've got powerful hands, I always have that to my advantage. I know he's a slick fighter, I'm looking forward to that. It's going to be a great match-up.
GL: Is there anything we can get in closing to the fans?PB: To all the fans, I appreciate the support. I'm going to go out there, I'm training hard. First things first, I have a fight next week. I have to take care of business, then I'll be ready for September 15th. It's going to be my opportunity to go out there, and show what I have. With your support, I'm always happy to go to work for you guys.
