GL:  BoxingTalk.com here with the 130 pound champion, Juan Manuel Marquez, at the press conference for De La Hoya-Mayweather.  Tell us how you're feeling and when we can expect to see you back in the ring.  "Everything is going well.  I'm happy because of the victory that I got on March 17th over Barrera.  I'm planning to get back in the ring on September 15th."

GL:  September 15th is a potential PPV date.  Obviously, the opponent that everybody wants to see you in there with is the  Pacquiao rematch.  If it isn't Pacquiao, who else would you like to fight?

JMM:  I would like for Pacquiao to be the opponent, I want a rematch.  In 2004, when I fought him, I got a draw.  I feel that I won that fight.  It would be special.  That date is special, for Mexicans, for me, for people.  It's going to be great.

GL:  If that fight doesn't come to fruition, do you feel almost relieved, now that you've got the big win over Barrera out of the way?  Now that everyone has to accept you as a marquee fighter do you feel that there are bigger and better things coming to you as a result of that win?

JMM:  I'm happy for whatever happens.  I'm happy because I got that big win.  If the fight with Barrera and Pacquiao happens, I don't care.  I just demonstrated who I am, and I'm ready to fight anyone.

GL:  Would you give Barrera a rematch?  Do you think that's a fight that the fans want to see?

JMM:  I'm ready. I'm ready to fight anyone.  If Barrera wants a rematch, I'm there.

GL:  We're going to let the champ get his food on.  Is there anything you'd like to say to the fans in closing?

JMM:  Thank you for everybody’s  support and I hope to see you on September 15th.
