Luka Plantic W10 Bruno Acosta ... Luka “Thunder” Plantic, a 168-pounder from Croatia, bested previously undefeated Bruno Acosta of Argentina over ten rounds this weekend in Zagreb, Croatia. In a well-matched  fight, Plantic found a tough opponent in Acosta (11-1), who forced Plantic to stay in a defensive mode for stretches. Plantic managed to connect with hard shots in the first, fourth and closing rounds of the bout, but he also took punishment from the Argentinean. The fight went to the scorecards which were scored as follows: 97-93, 98-92 and 98-93 for Plantic by unanimous decision. With this result, Plantic managed to maintain his twelve-fight unbeaten streak. After the fight, Plantic [extremely optimisitically] said to his fans: “Thank you all for coming, see you next year against [world champion] Canelo [Alvarez]!"
