360 Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions confirmed a junior middleweight bout between Ukrainian Serhii Bohachuk, the WBC interim title holder and  Texas' Vergil Ortiz (pictured). The bout is scheduled for August 10th at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, on a card that will be broadcast live on DAZN. Bohachuck (24-1, 23 KOs) has won six straight fights, since a March 2021 knockout loss to Brandon Adams (24-3, 16 KOs). One of his most notable victories was on March 30 when he defeated Brian Mendoza to claim the WBC interim title. Ortiz (21-0-0, 21 KOs) comes to this fight after knocking out Thomas Dulorme in the first round on April 27th. The WBC recognizes Sebastian Fundora as its full 154-pound champion.
