Albert Ramírez TKO3 Marko Calic ... Surging Venezuelan light heavyweight Albert Ramírez made a successful trip to Canada that ended with a third-round TKO over Marko Calic in Montreal. Ramirez, who extended his undefeated record to 20-0, had a slow start in the opening round. Calic landed a couple of sharp combinations, hinting at a potentially long night ahead. But by the second round, Ramírez found his rhythm, imposing his right hand and seizing control of the fight. From that point on, it was all Ramírez. In the third round, he rocked Calic with a series of punishing right hooks. The Croatian struggled to respond, and after two knockdowns—just as the round was nearing its final minute—Calic’s corner had seen enough, throwing in the towel to prevent further damage. With this victory, Ramírez secured his 17th career knockout, reinforcing his position in the World Boxing Association’s highly competitive light heavyweight rankings. Meanwhile, Calic suffered just the second defeat of his professional career against fifteen wins.
