The defending 122-pound champion Israel Vazquez is a modest betting favorite over former champion, Rafael Marquez.  In the first of their two epic battles, Marquez climbed up in weight from 118 and won an all-out war when a  broken nose forced Vazquez to call it quits.  In their classic rematch, it was Vazquez who stopped Marquez by TKO.  Now, in the much-anticipated third installment, Vazquez is the betting favorite.  The bout will take place at the Home Depot Center this Saturday Night and will be televised on Showtime.  Vazquez holds wins over Oscar Larios, Jhonny Gonzalez (and Marquez). His professional record is 42-4 with 31 knockouts.   Marquez is a two-division champion with wins over Mark Johnson, Silence Mabuza (and Vasquez).  Marquez holds a professional record of 37-4 with 33 knockouts.
