Seven-foot heavyweight Nicolay Valuev knocked out Clifford Etienne in the third round in Bayreuth, Germany. Etienne reportedly did well in the first two rounds but was knocked down for the count in the third. However, Etienne claimed the blow was an illegal shot to the back of his head. Valuev, now 41-0 and seemingly vastly improved from his early fights, seems headed for a showdown against former WBO titlist Henry Akinwande in two months. source: allesaussersport and Etienne representatives
