Chris Meyer CEO of Sauerland Events released the following statement earlier today, "I read news on the internet that a fight between Nico Valuev and Owen Beck has been 'signed and sealed.' I would like to advise you that this fight is not signed and sealed. We are in discussions with both, Nico Valuev and Don King representing Mr. Owen Beck, but nothing has been finalized. Also the anticiptaed site of the bout is not 100% clear, as we are negiotiating with three possible venues.  However, the anticpated date is April 1 in Germany."
